For us to create solution to our problems, embracing creative mindset is a good option.

Sets of ideas from different minds about creativity often come at a time when people are thinking about something else for problem-solving. 

Embracing creative mindset is necessary for us to control our mind, skills and experiences.

In order to enjoy the process of creativity, we also need to energize our mind and thoughts with skills and experiences that make a feeling to succeed.

EMBRACING Creative Mindset: Clues

As for creative mindset, some school of thoughts have advocated for the followings:

  • Re-conditioning of thoughts and feelings.
  • Re-organizing beliefs and values.
  • Trusting intuition and instinctive reflex.
  • Living consciously.
  • Networking with creative minds.
  • Engaging in creative lifestyle.
  • Reviewing and changing the changeable, e.t.c .

These thoughts are clues to creative negotiation of life with our mindset.

Although, over the years psychologists have emphasized on mindset as a key to survival and development; but the curiosity of “how do we negotiate life by embracing creative mindsets?” need to be satisfied.

It must be suggested for us, that to survive and sustain development; we must load up sets of ideas and humanistic philosophy into our minds. We must know that:

  • Mind is not a separate agent or substance, but is a particular type of doing, of activity of possibilities on the part of human being.
  • Mind is the whole system of ideas and acquired meanings that expresses reasoning and intelligence to solve most fundamental issues in the human-being domain.
  • Mind is the embodiment of complex information impulses (from activities and interests) that is always creative when we are psychologically and physiologically balanced.
  • Mind is flexible and educable.
  • Mind evolves when it’s subject to certain environmental/social influences; also when creative motives are desired and pursued.
  • Mind matures and attains it’s distinctive powers of abstract thoughts through acquired meanings of symbols, sounds, patterns and sensations.

Research Skill / Knowledge Experience

Einstein’s thought experiment that enlightened the physicist wouldn’t have been possible without researching familiar principles in physics.

Without chemical structure research, Mendeleev's ‘periodic table’ wouldn’t have been existed satisfactorily in chemistry studies.

In economics world, business researches create comparative and competitive values for profitability and sustainability.

Research in all facets of life, plays a vital role in knowing what existed, exist and what shall be existing. Research also initiate the synthesis of knowledge from different domains.

Creatively, combining knowledgeable facts from research set us on the course of problem-solving. At combination moment of knowledgeable facts, we develop creative mindset skills because cues, patterns and anomalies in facts make us think differently, and act differently to achieve creative goals.

For instant, if an individual encounter problems, certain amount of information about the problem are known. Acquisition of more knowledge and reasonable representation of problem in a knowledge space requires research skills like problem-recognition, problem-definition and problem-representation.

From research, problem-solving or solution creation is heavily reliant on the sort of information encountered and explored by an entity.

The amount of time an entity actually engage on information findings, simply build-up knowledge experiences like intuition, insightful moment, analogical thinking, analytical thinking and resolution-reflexes.

Social Skill / Motivation Experience

There are people who teach that association influence lives and opportunities. Yes, association also influence creativity and creative minds. It is worthy, whatever time we invest in making social skill.

To simplify our view, social skill is the daily discipline we use in networking with our environment (i.e human and non-human environment) for mind-expansion and fulfillment of motives.

Somehow, we already know that our environment is basically made-up of humans and non-humans. Attention only need to be directed the useful social skills such as the following:

Reading      - To catch up with written ideas, philosophies, and existing attributes.

Observing   - To keep eyes on the useful scenarios and thought provoking captured images.

Listening     - To hear the relevant information.

Feeling        - To sense togetherness within our environment.

Questioning  - To probe the nature of reality,   knowledge, Logic and causality.

Thinking       - To re-define moments with greater knowledge acquired.

Then, if at any point the above stated skills are harnessed or nurtured; our social skills develop.

Also, if social skills create a successful motives; there’s motivation to generate more experiences for our environment.

At this juncture, motivation experiences further produce more creativity, creative mindsets and creative mind.

Sorting Skill / Management Experience

To start with it, what sort of skill makes creativity count? Our guesses may extend to what we think differently, act proficiently and mange effectively. Whatever we do differently, proficiently and effectively are sort of mind-shift of mind sets which are cognitively controlled by our sorting skill.

Sorting skill in relative to creativity, is essentially the skill of categorizing useful knowledge, facts and valuables for presentation and harnessing critical decision-making.

Sorting skill requires our conscious attention and time to sufficiently engage the brain, yet we experience well-reasoned and managed presentation. This simply translate that the way we sort out presentations can develop the managerial capabilities. Thus, make sorting skill count for management experience and creativity.

System Skill / Control Experience

At the point we realize that creating sustainability for our creative mindset is a systemic problem, then we should be embracing system skill.

System skill lurks around the cognitive sense of understanding events with the mindset that mind is a whole system, yet operates on nurtured experience of ‘garbage ins, garbage outs’.

If the ‘ins’ function as new knowledge, new strategies and approaches, then the systemic mind process the ‘ins’ to be creative ‘outs’ that equate desired motives, if and only if, we are psychologically and physiologically balanced.

For us to balance the systemic mind is the system skill.

It will be productive to link-up the system skill as correspondent of the suggested Napoleon Hill’s twelve riches of life which are as follows:

  • A positive mental attitude.
  • Sound physical health.
  • Harmony in human relationships.
  • Freedom from fear.
  • The hope of achievement.
  • The capacity for faith.
  • Willingness to share one’s blessings.
  • A labor of love.
  • An open mind on all subjects.
  • Self-Discipline.
  • The capacity to understand people.
  • Financial security.

Moreover, the balancing mindset effort of system skill for the systemic mind re-evolves to creative mind with entirely new sets of intelligence. It is the new sets of intelligence that give the blessings of control experience.

Communication Skill / Feedback Experience

Communication skill is a skill to improve the quality of expressions for shared understandings and net-workings.

Communication skill solves the anticipated problem of the wrong perception of ideas to be communicated. Therefore, it justifies why creative minds embrace this skill.

Since, the conscious, perspective reasoning and configurations of ideas can’t lie dormant in mind, but to be shared; then, the choices of sharing and delivering the mind’s set of ideas without misconception reflects good communication skill.

To achieve good communication skill, we must always reflect on:

  • What delivers content of ideas the audience want to know and need to know?
  • How to ensure effective channel (i.e verbal, non-verbal or about both as channel).
  • What situation and time the content of ideas will co-exist the expected audience’s thoughts.

With these above reflections, good communication skill proves to be a doing that is empathetic with minds’ network which can’t be sustained without feedback from audience’s thoughts.

Thus, good communication skill will result to good feedback experience.
